Malaysia My Second Home Program
(MM2H)

The Malaysia My Second Home (MM2H) program is a long-term visa initiative offering a five-year renewable visa for families or individuals from around the world who wish to reside in Malaysia. This special visa allows for multiple entries and long-term stays within the five-year period.

Applicants can bring their spouses and children (under 21 years old) to live in Malaysia long-term. Additionally, the main applicant can include parents over 60 years old and a domestic helper in the program. The applicants’ children can attend international schools or local Chinese schools and various universities in Malaysia.

Applicants are not allowed to work in Malaysia, except for those over 50 years old, who can apply for a special permit allowing them to work up to 20 hours per week. While working is generally prohibited, applicants are allowed to register a company and invest in business ventures in Malaysia.

Application Process

1- Submission of Materials
– The applicant submits the Malaysia My Second Home (MM2H) application materials to our company (can be sent via courier to Malaysia). [3 to 5 working days]

2- Review of Submission
– We review and organize the materials, then submit them to the immigration department. [4 to 6 months]

3- Approval Notification
– Once the Malaysian immigration department issues the approval letter, we will notify the
applicant. [Within 6 months]

4- Arrival in Malaysia
– The applicant reports to Malaysia: staff will accompany them to the bank for fixed deposit, medical check-up, and purchase of medical insurance. [2 working days]

5- Submission of Documents and Visa Issuance
Staff submit relevant documents to the immigration department to attach the MM2H visa.

Step 1: Payment of the following fees:
– MM2H processing fee. If the visa is issued while the applicant is already in Malaysia, each person must pay RM530 for the travel visa fee. (Usually, when the MM2H visa approval is granted, we notify the applicant by phone or document, and they apply for the visa at the nearest Malaysian embassy in their home country. They then come to Malaysia with the visa to obtain the MM2H visa, in which case this fee is not required).
